Hi, @Nikki Carriere, I just wanted to let you know that you hadn't selected the "Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge" clip set for this cookie, and so I did not see it entered into the challenge until after I had done the prize drawing. I have since added it to the clip set, so our "judges" can appreciate it, but please remember that you MUST select the challenge clip set in order to guarantee that it will be eligible for the prize drawing. Thanks.

Thank you, Julia. I was in such a rush to get it done. I appreciate you adding it later.

Okay, but please select it next time. I cannot guarantee I will do this next time. I only stumbled on it and happened to see it by sheer chance.

Another great use for isomalt. Did you get the texture from pouring the boiled sugar onto a silicon mat, or did you use some other technique? Also, it is hard to tell from the photo, but did you color the sugar white, and if so, what did you use to color it white?

So sorry for the late response. The texture is because I poured the isomalt onto a silicone mat. No, I didn't color the isomalt, that is just the white color from the tray the cookies are on.
If I had not been so late in trying to do this challenge, I had hoped to try coloring the isomalt and to paint on it. If I get some time later, I will play around with both of those techniques.
