Elke! This is absolutely STUNNING!!! You totally nailed the perspective here. You have multiple techniques going on here, all seamlessly - the focal point perspective in the leaf-lined path, railing and in the stream that meanders in the distance. And then you have wonderful aerial perspective in your hazy, fading colors as the path and stream disappear in the distance. Finally, I love how you complimented the perspective of the cookie with a little extra perspective in your taking of this photo. (Folks, see how the lines of the faux wood bakedrop angle toward a distant center focal point off the bakedrop?). Masterful entry!

Thank you, Christine. I followed your advice and really read and studied everything I could find about perspective ( what one does between midnight and six in the morning, right?). I spent a great deal of time looking for pictures, understanding how perspective was shown on them and started thinking what kind of texture I could use to enhance the image's linear perspective. I want to thank you and Julia for this extraordinary opportunity. I grow at every challenge you guys create.
