Peter in the Garden

Every year, Peter rabbit makes an appearance in my cookie decorating. I made his cottage by molding cookie dough into a clay flower pot and baking it (Julia Usher https://cookieconnection.julia...s-with-julia-m-usher). I then painted with orange airbrush color. For the tree I contoured cookie in the shape of a tree trunk and branches, baked it and then piped with royal icing and attached gum paste leaves. The flowers are made of royal icing and gum paste. The rabbit is a cookie I flooded with royal icing. His jacket is fondant. I then painted details on his using dust colors and edible pens.
