Julia - I piped brown RI on the cookie and then flooded it with yellow over the brown (when it dried). I wanted more texture on the cookie. I was trying to make the leaf more realistic. I love how the brown shows through and looks like the little brown bumps that are on real leaves.
When the yellow was wet, I airbrushed the cookie in orange and added a few drops of orange gel color and pulled it through with a toothpick.

Great, thanks - the overpiping does look great. I added a few clarifying tags and clips sets to this cookie just now to help explain these techniques.
