The RI was a bit wetter than my normal flood consistency (so I could play with it for a while). I mixed 3 colors and laid the origional basic shapes of the petals and center. Then I tried to get a more hand painted effect by mixing the three colors together and by adding more brown gel to the center and mixing it around as well. Again, I learned lots and loved the challange!
I love your complete lack of fear when it comes to trying new techniques, Kim! I love how you swirled the icing around, and when you didn't get the result you were looking for, you added the straight brown gel color. Had you waited until November or December to make these, the dryness of the air might have made the playing around more difficult!

Thanks so much, Christine! I think this was my favorite of the sets I tried in this Challange. My hat goes off to those who do it so well and with such apparent ease!
