Signs of Spring

This is the last cookie I made for the food pantry.  (The organization decided to suddenly and sadly stop food distribution.)  I made this a couple of weeks ago when the weather was really all over the place.  Warm days, cold days and both flowers and parkas were out!

The birds and flowers are royal icing.  As a result, I was able to bake and finish 100 sooo quickly.

They are so cute!!!! I’m so sorry the food pantry has closed down, and so abruptly, I’m sure many people will suffer it, but trust God is looking after them and has provided for their needs.♥️

So sweet! I too am sorry about the loss of the food pantry. I imagine many will suffer the loss of the food, and we will so miss seeing what you sent each week. I do hope you find another creative/philanthropic outlet that moves you. ❤️

Thank you Heather. It is a very frustrating situation but I am hopeful we’ll have an alternative before too long. ❤️🙏🏻

Thank you for your kind thoughts Julia. I’m still in the process of regrouping. Your classes have been very inspirational. I’m trying to find a way to cookie each day and work on advanced techniques without a constant deadline. It’s a bit harder than I would have predicted! Too many other things are vying for my attention 😂

Not only do you juggle so many things simultaneously, you also seem to have an endless stream of creativity.  I seriously don't know how you do it.
