Sofi’s Birthday ♥️

My Granddaughter Sofia is going to be 13(!) next week and wanted flower cookies, especially peach flowers. I loved making these for her♥️
Stiff icing piped flowers, painted with petal dust and placed on an iced cookie.

Pretty! What did you paint on them? The orange centers? The edges almost look airbrushed in a darker pink. Is that the case?

Thank you so much dear Julia! Both the center and edges of each petal were brushed with burgundy petal dust. I’m very glad you liked them♥️

Oh Heather @Heather Bruce Sosa, what incredibly beautiful cookies for your granddaughter my dear friend ❤️. Wow!! 13 years old. How quickly the time passes. Right?! Our own grandkiddos are in their mid to late teens now and I can hardly believe it . Such a joy to watch them growing up and the love just pours from our hearts. Happy birthday to Sofia as she enters her teen years...such a precious, beautiful gift from you sweet Heather ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs....

Aww, my dear Carol! Yes, you are right, grandkids are such a huge blessing! It’s a privilege to see them grow. I love making special cookies for them, they always get to choose the theme.

I mail a lot of cookies (which sometimes arrive late 🤣) My feeling is that it just keeps the celebration going!😘😘
