A sponge? Wow, you must have the patience of a saint, lol. I have to say, it is a much better quality stencil job than what I usually see with an airbrush. The lack of overspray makes these look almost handpainted, or like they have two colors of icing. Maybe that explains why I can't decide if your roses are ivory, yellow, or pink. These are lovely.

Steiciling using sponge is not so difficult, but this quatrofoil stencil sheet is tricky because its openings are big.  I have to hold the sheet not to touch the icing surface that is already stenciled as much as possible. (I hope you understand what I mean!)

I thought stenciling using air brush should be much consistent and easier! Now I don't have to be bothered by the idea I need an air brush.

Thank you! I cut a cello cone tip into a chevron shape and piped those leaves. Then I applied silk shimmer ivory Rainbow Dust. It's the only one luster dust we can get as approved as edible here in Japan. Anyway I love this luster dust so much and I apply it to almost everything!
