Thank you so much Anne Marie! Yes it was a little bit challenging. I use gum paste first to do them and not fondant because it doesn't dry like gum paste. I let them dry over two bottles that have that shape with some wire inside the ears, i put more than one in each ear. I let them dry. Then, and here is the trick, y secure those wires from both ears to two sticks. I just round them with the wires until they were really secure. Finally I insert the stick into the side of the face. It has to be a long stick in order to touch the bottom of the cake. That give you more stability. Maybe i was able to do this because i rolled my gum paste thin to make it not heavy.
