How in the world do you get such perfect symmetry in your designs? Do you use a graphic projector?

Many years of painting strokework gives me a good feel for the movement and I have practiced with a passion and I love my piping bag. Lol I am pleased you enjoy

It looks like you applied a glaze before the icing - is that true?  If so, does it dry tacky at all?

The shine is from an egg wash applied to my honey gingerbread as soon as removed from the oven and no it is not tacky at all ever.

Thank you so much for sharing.  I think the glaze beneath is one of those details that seems minimal but makes such a difference in the final look. It highlights all of your gorgeous icing work. Do you use milk in your egg wash or just water?
