Lovely! Can you tell us a little more about why you selected these elements to cookie, and how you did the various cookies - especially the one with what looks to be royal icing mosaic?
I’ve made asian cookies including Japanese styled cookies and European cookies several times and this time I wanted to try something new; cookies that are neither Asian or European. This is why I chose to challenge in creating a Moroccan world with cookies. This may not be what a real Moroccan style is like since I’ve never visited there, but this is what I imagine as Morocco.
I didn’t use any special materials nor did I use any hard techniques. It is just a simple icing cookie set. The mosaic patterns on the little lamp cookie, are made from icing. I wanted to express the gorgeousness image of Arab by using gold but since gold icing is not approved as a edible material in Japan, I tried hard to make it gold by using shiny powder and colours that look close to gold.

This is a very soothing color palette and reminds me a bit of Greece, as well as Morocco, since much of the European side of the Mediterranean has been influenced by the African side of the Med (and vice versa) for literally millennia. Although you claim to not use any "special" techniques, I am very impressed by how you wee able to create the golden domes without gold dust. Finally, your lettering (while I cannot read it at all... what DOES it say???) is absolute perfection. Well done!
