I'm not sure if this is allowed (skimmed through the terms a bit but still wasn't sure) please yank this Julia if it is not acceptable! (And super sorry if so!)

I decided to clear-coat, mount, frame and sign one of my recently debuted cookie pieces and put it up on eBay if anyone was interested in hanging some cookie art! This is the only ButterWinks cookie out there that I have ever done this with so it is quite unique.

Thanks for looking! Has anyone else ever framed and hung their cookie art??

Hi Mallory! I am happy, that it is acceptable, to let everyone on Cookie Connection know that you are selling your cookie on Ebay! Your cookie is amazing! I hope the amount you receive for your cookie art, exceeds your expectations!

I pinned a photo of your cookie and the link to it on Ebay, on my Pinterest board, found here...http://www.pinterest.com/dorana1/the-art-of-cookie-decorating/  letting even more people know it's for sale on Ebay!  I also posted about it on Facebook.

I used a clear sealer spray specifically meant for this sort of thing- so I certainly hope so! I personally have cookies sitting in my kitchen without any sort of protection for well over a year now that still look exactly the same. It's amazing how well butter and sugar preserve themselves, huh!

Me too. I never preserve them with anything and they hold up pretty darn well if lying flat. Some of my 3-D ones have gotten really dry and fallen apart at the seams but this after months, typically. I've had trouble with edible lacquers that I've tried too - spotting and tasting horrid. It sounds like the non-edible lacquer didn't do any damage to your piece though, which is great!

Hi Mallory! I am happy that your cookie was purchased on Ebay and that you are very excited about it! I hope your cookie makes it safely to California! How exciting! What an accomplishment! Your cookie art is amazing!
