Hi, Tina bedwell, Congrats on making your first post. I look forward to many more to come!
I have read raves about Truly Mad Plastics’ Super Silver and Super Gold dusts. You'd probably have to age it down some though. It is non-toxic but not FDA approved. You can find it on Etsy.
I spray PME Pearl sheen on gingerbread and it looks silver.
What is PME Pearl sheen, Julia? Is it dust or spray?

It's an alcohol-based spray - google it and tons of sources will come up. I think it also comes water-based, but the alcohol-based one will cover un-iced dark dough better. They also have a "silver", but it looks dark and dull.

Thank you so much! I did not know.
