Has anyone tried butter pecan flavor in sugar cookies with good results? I have an order for that flavor, but I'm not sure how it turns out. I've only made cookie nip and almond flavors so far.

I don't know this aroma. But I could imagine that if you add ground (roasted) pecans instead of almonds or a part of flour, that gives a more natural taste. However, this also makes the pastries more crumbly ...

i meant butter pecan flavoring. I don't put actual nuts in the cookies. Just trying different flavors.
Sorry no help here. I only use vanilla and cookie nip. Do a search maybe you will find a recipe.
So sorry; have not tried it. Why not just buy a small amount and test it in your dough? Everyone's palette is different, so I think it's always best to try things for oneself.
