Hi, all! I just got an email from the casting agency for Food Network's Christmas Cookie Challenge, and they are already casting for this year's series, believe it or not.
Here's what the casting letter said:
"Our casting team is currently searching nationwide for the best cookie makers in the country to put their skills to the ultimate test in a fun holiday cookie competition. Do you make flawless florentines, magnificent madeleines, and perfect pinwheels? If cookies is your calling, this is the show for you! We are looking for the most skilled kings and queens of the cookie world who are ready to battle it out to find out once and for all whose cookies take the cake! If you think you have what it takes to conquer a cookie competition, it's time to put your skills to the test! Please take a look at our casting flyer above, and visit our website at www.christmascookiechallenge.com to learn how to apply for the show."
Also to note:
Last year, winners received a $10,000 prize, so the stakes are likely high again this time! Cookie Connection also interviewed five 2017 contestants. For an in-depth view into their experience, from prepping to competing and beyond, please check out their chat transcript here.
Best of luck to all who apply and compete!
Please note that I have NO other information than what's provided here, so any questions/issues should be directed to the contact information provided at the bottom of the pink link above. The pink link (www.christmascookiechallenge.com) also directs to the application form.
