EDITOR'S NOTE - Here's a rough translation of Karla's post, so more of you can assist:

Good evening. I want to know if you can help me. I'm undecided about buying a Kopykake or an edible printer. Which would be more useful to decorate cookies? Thank you in advance for your advice. Greetings from Mexico.

EDITOR'S NOTE 2 - Karla, I deleted the images you attached, as we do not permit the uploading of images to this site that do not belong to you, and they appeared to be images from the manufacturers' websites. You are welcome to link off to products/information on sites, but please do not upload others' images here. Thanks!

Hi Karla     I can't help you     Many have the kopykake and maybe a few have the printer      either way  they are satisfied with their "tools"

Not sure if you'll find answers in the Forums tab that opens with links   one is to techniques  troubleshooting

oh  maybe a few have a Pico   or they use Lucida  an app      i'm not sure

this site has many tips tricks advice        scroll through the tabs at the top

it will take some searching     i'm sure you'll hit upon something to help you make a decision    everything has pros and cons    and some prefer one over the other

If you are asking which would be more helpful to you, I think the answer very much depends on the type of cookie decorating that you want to do and whether you plan to use a lot of edible images. If you suspect you'll have a high demand for custom-printed edible images, then there's really no substitute for the printer. But if you only need assistance with tracing designs and patterns, then the Kopykake would be the better tool.

I own a kopykake and it has been a great asset.  I tried the pico at cookiecon and I am going to wait until the next generatiom for them to work out bugs.  I decided to not buy the printer because I heard of a lot of problems.  It is also very expensive to operate.  What I'm thinking about getting is a 3D printer so I can make cutters for what I need.
