Nice to meet you over this topic.
I am a native Japanese who currently live on the Upper east side. I've always wanted to take cookie decorating classes but never had a chance so I am wondering if I could find a class here. Could you please someone kindly let me know if there is any classes in NYC? I would also love to make new friends who are as passionate as I am about decorating cookies

SweetAmbs (sweetambs.com) is in Beacon NY (an easy train ride from the city. Her class is fantastic. She is a great teacher. Her cookies are amazing.

Yes, I would also put in a word for Sweet Ambs. I took a class of hers, and was quite pleased with her instructional style. Her studio is easy to get to by train or car.
Sweet Ambs is great. If you can get to PA there are two more great cookie decorators. Stephanie at the Hungry Hippopotamus in King of Prussia, PA offers cookie decorating classes. I took 2 with her already. She has a Halloween cookie class on Oct 18th. She posted that class on here and her website. The other place for classes is with Anne from Flour Box Bakery in Bellefonte, PA. She is also great. Hope that helps.
