Hi there ya'll! This week I've been working on my Halloween cookies. It's one of my favorite things to do! Lol, I could use some feedback on what I can do to take this little guy to the next level. I'm totally stressing . . .
over the symmetry . . . Or rather the lack of. I hand-cut all my designs so I've pretty much given up on ever achieving perfection. (sigh) Question . . .How many drafts do you guys do before you call it good enough?

It's looking very symmetric to me! I'd probably just do some black and white detailed overpiping to dress up each section.
Overpiping.. .almost as intimidating as black dots on eyeballs! Lol at least for me. *gives self pep talk while doing shoulder stretches* What's not to love about a challenge right!? 😀
I thought the same thing. He is super cute and some over piping on the wings would just bring it all together. I tell myself that all the time and sometimes I end up doing it and sometimes not because I think I will end up ruining it!
Cute! Try thickening the icing a touch - I find that when they're too loose and big, they can crater. But not so much that you get peaks.
