I usually don't like to use grosgrain ribbon because it's so stiff. I tend to always buy ribbon that you can "see through". I'm not sure what that style is called, but I find it the easiest and fastest to work with because it's so pliable and the knots can be really small and tight on the bag. I usually always tie a bow unless I've purchased a specialty ribbon that says something or simply looks better in just a knot. I'll attach some pics to show you what I'm talking about. =) Letitia
