My son loves The Queen Mary ship in Long Beach, California. I wanted to surprise him with some "ship" cookies. I asked someone to make a stencil for me with the name, "The Queen Mary". She refused saying she could not do logos....which I completely understand. I was just wondering, is it considered a logo if the font is different from the company's real logo? You know when I make the cookie, it is not going to look exactly like The Queen Mary.

Thank you.

I know that some people won't make logos without authorization from the IP holder. Contact this stencil company...I use them all of the time, just get your order in as soon as you can...they take some time if there is a waiting list.

Thank you, TheTailorcookie for responding.  I will most definitely keep them in mind.  I actually wrote to the Queen Mary and two different representatives answered me, giving me permission to use their logo.  They even sent me the Logo two different ways and a sillouette of the ship in case I needed that as well. I cannot sell the cookies but I didn't want to anyway and they had one more requirement....I send pictures when I'm finished. So all is well.

Perfect!! Sounds like you're all set!
