Hi, all, this new Osmo app called Masterpiece was pointed out in another cookie group by Erin Anners. If you watch their promotional video, I think you'll immediately see some cookie applications - projecting/tracing, digitally combining images/designs, etc. Might be worth checking out!

This post intrigued me... I wish I had an IPad...
I feel like crying... the second app of this kind for the Ipad, after Camera Lucida. Android also has one, "Artist's eye" and I would love to give it a try! Alas, I have a Windows tablet and there is absolutely nothing even remotely useful in THAT store...
But investing at least another 100€ to get a second tablet? Absolutely not!
I still would be interested in experiences you have with either of the available apps for tracing.
I only have a table pc and fire kindle this is very intriguing though I wonder if they have a small ipad - I rarely shop around - that could be useable trying to think of what they are called I don't know wthe difference between a lot of the products on the market okay i'm having difficulty readin seeing typing

Yes, I read that post, too. The projector used was an Artograph EZ Tracer - which seems to be unavailable in Europe. Artograph has other projectors, which start at around 90€ (without the possibility to either enlarge or reduce) and more professional ones (which can do both) starting at appr. 120€. Therefore I dropped the idea
As much as I would like a device like that, cookie decorating is my hobby, not my profession, and I am already spending way to much on it as it is. An app for a small amount - OK. A large device which eats up my weekly budget or more is not really tolerable...
FYI - here's the link to the Kopykake Kopycat post that you guys are talking about. It's on the blog under tutorials: http://cookieconnection.juliau...copycat-for-under-30
What's up with the Julia Usher app?
