Windows - How to Make?

I did a class with Arty McGoo and she showed me her truck cookie.  For the windows she used cakecraft sparkle gel.  It dries and gives a glassy look.  I could only find the colored gel, but it dries nearly clear.  I used the gel on my Jeep cookies and was very pleased.  Please post your cookies when you are done.

Use a silicone mat.  Pipe a good solid outline of royal icing.  Let it dry.  Fill in the outline with crushed hard candy that matches the window color you are going for.  Bake in the oven on a low temp untill the candy melts.  Let cool.  Remove carefully. I did this years ago for gingerbread house windows.  Plan on making some practice ones to get the right baking temp and time.

Another good idea!!!  I have seen people do that for stained glass now that you mention it!!!  Thanks for the idea!   Can't wait to try both & see how they work!!!!
