My First Cookies!

Hi All,

So, after reading blogs, watching YouTube and getting Julia's book to find the butter cookie recipe, I made my own cookies for the first time! As I look after my 3 year old granddaughter I don't have time during the day, so this project started at 11pm at night (the cookies were made the day before as per instructions). At midnight I was ready to ice... and finished at 3 am and went to bed very happy. Taking them up North (that's an English expression for anywhere above London) to give to my daughter's boyfriend.

OK, so the are a bit messy and uneven, but for a first effort I'm happy with them.

One batch of cookies, 3 flavours - Vanilla, Cinnamon and Orange & Clove.
