Washington DC Monument Wedding Favor Cookies

A northern Virginia couple was married near DC and wanted custom wedding favors featuring prominent DC monuments and buildings. These cookies featured the US Capital, the White House, the Washington monument, Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial. I created the stencils and made sure to use the white from The Sugar Art to really ensure my white was white! The blue background is just a touch of Americolor Wedgewood. I stenciled the images once, let them dry and then stenciled them again to ensure that the blue didn't absorb the white. Then, I piped some minimal details on the monuments for a little pop.
