I was wondering what the size of the cookie was and the consistency of the royal icing used for the lace work. Do you use a piping tip (if so what size)or pipe directly from the bag? Your lace work is magnificent!

Thank you,  I  use what I  call soft peak for my piping using PME tips  usually #1 sometimes #0. I  use tip less bags with tips  easier on my hand because they are softer. ❤

This is stunning, Teri.  I really like the effect of the needlepoint over the hand-painted background - it creates such gorgeous depth to the piece.  And your lace border is exquisite.
