The Monochrome Challange was a stretch for me but I must admit it helped me find a super fun easy way to make cute cookies. I will be using this technique in the future (so again, thanks Christine!). I tried different ways to get a fancy look with just the one cookie and really enjoyed how they turned out. I did start with a little thinker than usual RI to get the layering crisp and was really pleased. The roses were super fun as well and I just went about using the frill look on the edges of the heart to try and match the Bo-Ho stencil feel. I think I will do more colors in the same hues and keep experimenting for a grand set!
This is a gorgeous turquoise color, Kim. I have no idea how you got the surface to look so shiny, but well done! The mix of the stenciled cookies and the roses is really lovely. These would make a fabulous non-traditional Valentine's set!

Thank you, Christine! I'm not going to take credit for the magic of shinny RI (as it was perfectly by accident) but I do like the effect! Perhaps the Americolor Gel being stronger had an effect? Loved this challange and I was surprised by that. It was not boring at all as I had anticipated! In contrast, limiting what I could do, caused me to experiment and it was very fun! hehe
