Hair and Feathers

This challenge has been pure joy, Christine! I love to try new things and I have experimented with wafer paper and learned so much. The doves have a paper wing, the woman has hair, eyelashes and peacock feathers, the bear has all his fur made of paper and the wall hanging has Rice paper feathers. I hand painted all. Some on back and front, some just on front and edges, some glued together with water, some attached with RI. Some were painted then cut, some were cut and then painted. The clouds were also painted wafer paper.

Great entry, Kim! Love the delicacy of the feathers. And the braid is such a creative idea!

What about the braid? Is that also wafer paper, or fondant?

This is such a gorgeous, original set!  Those feathers are exquisite, and the painting is so incredibly detailed.  Such a fantastic addition to the challenge.  You never disappoint, Kim!
