I started making cookies with royal icing a year ago. Julia Rusher was the first videos I watched and cookie decorating book I purchased.   I'm totally hooked and have been baking, decorating, and honing the craft.  It's a hobby for now.  Thankfully, I have many willing teachers and students who love cookies.  It's definitely a learning process, but I love every minute of it.
