I've been blessed with more than four decades of detailed cookie decorating time, inspired by my mother-in-law, Berta. We created cookies in the days before it was a "thing". It's as much fun now as it was in the 1970s. I'm tickled to pass on skills and techniques to my daughter and grand-daughters.  Late in my professional life, I attended culinary school and earned a certificate in pastry and baking. WHAT FUN! Whew, do bakers work hard!
