I'm a corn fed farm girl who learned to decorate on my own when I received a cake decorating set for my 8th birthday.  That was the beginning of my decorating life.  I didn't know about butter cream frosting and as I remember I made the frosting from Crisco.   Oh my goodness.  When I became a young mother I took a class for my family.  I really didn't follow though with the decorating when the kids grew up.  I have done some cookies but have never see such beautiful one's as yours.  Got my interest.

Hello, I am so impressed with your beautiful cookies.  I have always liked to play with decorating.   I made my mom and dads 25th wedding cake when I was 13 years old with the decorating set I was given when I was 8 years.  I never had a leason  I just looked at cakes in the bakery.  It wasn't fabulous but everyone was impressed that I made it.  I was very proud of it I must say at the age of 13 years.   I did finally take a leason  but only for family.
