Poppy’s background is in sales and marketing.  He is a self-taught baker specializing in cookies, cobblers, candies and coffee cakes.  His reputation as an out-door chef is well-established in the Scouting community. A graduate of Western Reserve Academy, his sociology/social welfare undergraduate degree is from the College of Wooster and marketing/communications graduate degree is from Franklin University.
