No, you won't damage the cookie unless you pour the syrup directly on it by mistake. I made basically this same cookie in my book Ultimate Cookies a few years ago with no trouble, except that sometimes piping directly on isomalt can cause the isomalt to cloud over time (but this takes a while).
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
