3-D Clown Box

This is the work I entered into the Cake, Bake and Sweets Show in Sydney this past weekend, where I managed to pick up first for my decorated cookies. The theme was Colour Pop, and you were required to have at least 4 cookies, could present them any way you wanted in a maximum space of 12 x12 inches.

When dipping all the half circles to make the 11 juggling balls I do recall thinking that Julia would not be as messy as I ended up being. Each face of the box and each of the juggling balls were hand painted with gel colours and water activated metallic paints.

Thank you. I thought it would be a bit messy, but it has been a while and it was very messy.

Thanks, I have been working on my painting this year and have gone from being scared about doing it to enjoying it. I suppose it is all down to practice.
