So sweet! What are you using to decorate, Sil? Looks like glaze, not royal icing?

Thank you! emm. I don't know the difference between glaze and royal icing. In Argentina we call it glasé, Julia calls it RI. I thought it was the same or isn't it?

Glaze is made by adding water or milk to powdered sugar plus other optional ingredients. Royal icing  consists of powdered sugar, egg white with optional cream of tartar and aroma. It's much harder to get fine detail with glaze as it doesn't hold its shape very well. Maybe you are adding stuff to the royal icing that makes it look translucent and shiny like glaze? Anyway, I like the look of your cookies <3. And you sandwiched some jam in this 3d cookie, right? Apricot ? Love it!!!

I think it's just RI, I have sandwiched it with RI as well, with thick RI. I loved your apricot jam's creation, would have been lovely!
