Pretty! How were the woodgrain and burlap done? The woodgrain looks like the marbled wet-on-wet technique, but it's a bit hard to tell from here. TIA.

For the woodgrain I thinned my royal icing a little beyond flood consistency and then painted the inside of my piping bag with the darker food gel… For the burlap, I brushed a light tan royal icing across my cookie first for some texture, then piped my line work, and finished by dusting over them for some color dimension.
