I started volunteering with Icing Smiles and sent out my first two cookie batches today. This is the batch I sent to two different girls who recently came home from the hospital. I also took a set to my electrician, who has a young grandson currently going through chemo. I had so much fun! It gave me an opportunity to make something more youthful AND only a dozen was needed for each child. I was sooo nervous though. I don’t have a lot of experience with cute kid cookies and I had to really rely on ideas from other cookiers. For starters, there was a wonderful animal cookie cutter set from Sweet Elite in the Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge @Sweet Prodigy prize provided by Julia @Julia M. Usher It came with a booklet that had decorating ideas from all sort of people including Lilaloa @LilaLoa Autumn Carpenter @Autumn Carpenter and Sweet Sugarbelle . I’m not technically savvy enough to give proper links and credits but they definitely showed me the way. I’m so happy with how they turned out and it did wonders for my confidence. I can’t wait to do more for Icing Smiles.
Your animals are adorable! Those piggies are so cute I would probably not want to eat them, and just save them. 🐷 Nice to see these wonderful cookies are going to some deserving kids. ❤️
Lisa dear, thank you!!! You are such an inspiration. You are so generous with all your giveaways. Thank you for blessing so many people with your gifts of love. And these little animals are so cute!♥️

Thanks Christine. I’m torn between the piggies and the giraffes. I know I’m not supposed to pick favorites but....😂😝😘🍪
