The Monochrome Challange was a stretch for me but I must admit it helped me find a super fun easy way to make cute cookies. I will be using this technique in the future (so again, thanks Christine!). I tried different ways to get a fancy look with just the one cookie and really enjoyed how they turned out. I did start with a little thinker than usual RI to get the layering crisp and was really pleased. The roses were super fun as well and I just went about using the frill look on the edges of the heart to try and match the Bo-Ho stencil feel. I think I will do more colors in the same hues and keep experimenting for a grand set!

@Kim Damon with a copy to @Bakerloo Station - This set is great, but the challenge requirements say that you cannot use your dough color as a second "color". (See screenshot below of the rules.) Therefore, I need to ask you to resubmit this photo to the challenge WITHOUT the cookie with the bare cookie background in the center. (Even though you have more than the minimum number of other cookies, we asked another entrant to resubmit under the exact same circumstances, so we need to be consistent.) THANK YOU!
** Again, EVERYONE ELSE WHO MAY BE READING, we want your submitted photos to have cookies in all one color, with no exposed cookie backgrounds and no second colors. THANK YOU!

I was aware of the rule and pushed it to the background for that reason. Just thought it turned out pretty, so I was using it as a decoration. I totally understand though. No problem!

It DID turn out pretty that way ! Next time, if you have an alternate and possibly non-compliant photo, like this one, that you also want to show, that's fine, but please attach it in a comment under the main, compliant photo. That way, we can all avoid having to issue rules reminders or post and re-post. Thanks!
