As I don't have an airbrush, and I have recently started stencilling (yay!) I have found that using the edible sprays creates an excess on the top of the stencil - such a waste! So, using an off-set spatula I scraped the excess off and made silver moons out of the tops of small round cookies. They shone really well in the sun too !

I don't have a sprayer and use can spray.  I did the same thing when I got too much on the cookie.  Scraped it up and use it to dab onto other cookies.  lol  BTW, I just tried the can spray again, and although not perfect, the cookies are doable.  lol  I'm thinking of posting the set.  hahahhaaaa  Well!  I keep trying - lol.
