I'm a bit behind on my posting, LOL. I have wanted to make a stringwork poinsettia for a few years now. Each layer was piped as a royal icing transfer, and then carefully layered on top of one another. I piped the lines a bit looser than I normally do to give it a more natural appearance just like a real flower. Poinsettia - Sweet Prodigy

Thanks, Gabi! I stack them VERY carefully. I use a few dabs of royal icing to hold each layer in place. The largest piece is the most fragile, but the smaller ones are not quite as fragile (relatively speaking) so they are fairly easy to hold and stack. 🙂
