Hey, Challenge #17 entrants! This is obviously a non-entry . . . I've been testing tolerances on my new line of stencil sets today (on paper), and I thought some of the messages were rather appropriate! I just wanted to quickly say congratulations to EVERYONE who entered this challenge. I know it was a little more challenging than usual (due to more constraints perhaps than usual), but all who entered should consider themselves winners for just showing up. The challenge is now closed, so be on the look-out for the official recap from Christine next Saturday! Thanks and congrats again!

Very nice, both are wonderful but I personally love the one on the right...on second look into love them both the same...
Thanks! Still testing them all - the fonts all need some adjustment to handle as well with royal icing as they do with the airbrush. Some need more space between the various stencil layers . . . stencil design is trickier than one might think!

Great designs we can use for so many cookies
I hope so - we (my partner and I) are designing the backgrounds, frames, and letters/words so that they can work relatively interchangeably from set to set. That's the plan anyway.

I'm excited. These are great. It's going to be such fun getting too see your new venture come to life.
Well done Julia!

These are just a few within the class of "layered message cookies" designed for plaques. I'll have other categories of layered stencils (like simple scenes!), as well as some individual/standalone stencils. Plus, I'm hoping all stencils sold in sets will also be sold individually.

Thank you, Julia, the challenge was another good exercise and a learning experience. Your new stencils are really nice, and surely I look at them with a different perspective than before the challenge, as I have been thinking to stencils to create something, making them, I 've been "thinking in layers", using them with different techniques and I know and could appreciate the added value that the stencils made by an experienced cookier have.

Love them both Julia!! I just love the papers and messages you chose to show off the stencil sets. Very beautiful
Thanks, but I didn't really select any paper per se . . . I just stenciled on plain white paper to avoid wasting cookies at this early stage of testing . . . all of the brown is airbrushed with food coloring and the green is stenciled with royal icing.
