Costa Rican Texture

Challenge 5 – Texture.  My cookie for this challenge is definitely a concept piece. There were some beautiful photos provided for inspiration.  The temptation for me was to do a very literal photo depiction.  Instead, I decided to pull elements from several photos to highlight the textures and the location.

Thanks Christine. In hindsight. I probably should have used fondant for the flowers. I have some tiny molds that would have worked well but I didn’t think of it until later.

You used the concept of texture so well on this cookie. Lovely colors too.
