Mystery Challenge - my stained glass was going to be a Cinderella stiletto but the melted hard candy disappeared. The humidity is very high here where I am visiting and I know this has never happened at home using this method. Can anyone explain it?
@Sylvianne I removed this clip from the challenge set because, unfortunately, without the "stained glass" it does not qualify. I would imagine that humidity did play a role. Hopefully, with cooler and drier weather on the way, you will be able to add the hard candy in again.

Did you actually see any dissolved residue of the stained glass? If the humidity caused it to wilt or dissolve, you would have probably seen some residual sugar goo on the tray or plate - it wouldn't just dematerialize/disappear. If not, is it possible someone or something selectively nibbled at the sugar parts?
P.S. I agree with Sweet Prodigy - just clean out the holes and try refilling them under more humidity-controlled conditions. Then reenter the challenge!
