don't tell me twice I need not to waste my decorating time by modelling a fondant-flute :-)

My oldest daughter, who used to play the flute in her HS marching band, would have loved this one. Love the colors you used for this one. I wonder how big is this cookie, and how long it took you to finish it. I would not eat this one...it's a masterpiece!! Congratulations on a beautiful job here.

the flute was not just as big as a real one, maybe 2/3 of the real size...

The mother of that girl asked me to create a cake themed music, especially flute. "I know modelling a flute is too complicated,she will be very happy with a note-decorated cake!".

Of course I took the challence

I rolled a stick from black fondant,gave time to harden, then put a layer of grey fondant around.When I made this cake I unfortunately didn't know about fondant hardeners yet.....
