As I don´t have polka dot stencil, I made my own dotty stencil out of wax paper with a hole punch tool, and as you can see, my dots are not symmetrical.
Also I don´t have dusting colors, so I used airbrush instead.
I made heart transfer out of royal icing, but after some time it broke, so I made another one using fondant.
Brush embroidery is something that I never manage to do properly, although Ive tried using stiff/soft royal consistency, dry/damp brush, following various you tube tutorials and still not good. In spite all of that, I enjoyed working on this cookie, because I always wanted to try mixed media and I like that vintage look on Dolce Sentire's cookie.

Wow! Very nice! There's absolutely NO way you failed on many levels, as you said. Your creation of a homemade stencil was ingenious, and, even if it was a touch asymmetrical, you can't see that asymmetry on the cookie. Even if you could, a little asymmetry on this sort of mixed media cookie is entirely fitting. All the other elements look extremely well executed. Congrats!

This is a delightful cookie! I absolutely adore Dolce Sentire's mixed media style, and you completely nailed it with this tutorial and entry! I do not see ANY "fails" here, but only clever work-arounds. The finished result is really lovely, and something you should definitely be proud of!

Thank you @Bakerloo Station, I was hoping that I will achieve same results as shown in tutorial, that is why I was a bit disappointed.
With your and @Julia M. Usher's point of view, I am looking my cookie differently now
I like mix media style, and I was preparing myself for Pamoda's tutorial in the first place, Few days ago, I finally received some stamps that I ordered and I did her tutorial as well. Soon I will upload that cookie as well, but not as practise bakes challenge.
I think this is a wonderful entry and I like your result! ♥ And that idea with the wax paper is great. I have to keep that in mind, in case I need some custom stenciling as well.
Having nothing to make dots with was one reason why I didn't pick this tutorial.
Thank you GinkgoWerkstatt! Glad to be of some help 😗
