Wonderful Leoni.

That many techniques used on one cookie could be a disaster, too busy, but you used them to beautiful advantage. And I love the variety of cookie shapes.  It all works.

A terrific set.

Thanks, Pip!

I take it then that it was a good thing to reduce my original design by several elements (sweet peas, butterflies, hummingbirds...). I thought it might get too crowded after all

so beautiful! wonderful photo staging as well!

Thanks a lot!

And for the staging, we have a saying here in Germany: Even a blind chicken eventually finds some corn

Your hibiscus flowers are so realistic and beautifully done!

Thanks, Evelin!

The flowers weren't that hard, actually. It were the leaves that drove me crazy *lol*

Amazing Leoni!!! I absolutely am in love with this design....such beautiful work. Any possibility of a tutorial with these designs???? Just asking

Thanks, Carol!

A tutorial for them? Er, I had promised myself never to make anything like that again. Those few cookies took about 20 hrs... but if you ask so nicely  Let's what comes to my mind along these lines.

Wow Leoni. You're great with flowers! I love this set! Bravissima ❤️

Thanks, Ina!

I wish I was as great with real flowers. Guess that's why I'm so drawn to floral designs - reality can be somewhat disappointing, so I need to remedy that with art

Amazing hibiscus, amazing colors, amazing set... as always. It looks so natural and perfect that it is easy to forget the amount of work to achieve that outcome.

Thanks, Manu, you are spoiling me... please just go right on

Yep, time seems to vanish into thin air when making cookies. Before you really know, another day has passed and you think in denial that it is not possible that you have actually spent 2 hours on decorating a single cookie while the washing piles higher and higher... *sigh*

It is remarkable just how much time goes into decorating a cookie!! And that doesn't even take the design concept and prep time into consideration...I was recently asked about a potential order and when I quoted the price the phone suddenly became very quiet (can anyone relate?). The price may sound "high" but the amount of time invested in just one cookie is so much more than people realize.

I'm not surprised that it took 20 hours to decorate that gorgeous set!!! Perfection Leoni
