Hitting Balls! Happy Birthday, Manu!

Hi!  everyone. 

How could I forget @Manu biscotti decorati Birthday?  Sunflowers' season started and that flower should remind me her b-day.   A bit late but Happy Birthday, our beloved Manu who hosts Cookie Connection Challenge on this site. 

I moved to a bigger city and cannot find my gudgets of cookies, I wonder where I put them. 

I did not add any chocolate or cocoa, simply I overbaked.  Good thing is Manu cannot taste them. 

I am still not good at lines.  The graph paper under the cookie helps me to line straight. 

For the racket, I prpared 2 colored icings and mixed them like marble.  Hopefully they work as I hoped.

Tennis balls.  See how the brush works, neat! 

Again, Happy Birthday to Manu.  You have lots and lots of chances to hit balls this year!  May this year bring you more happiness and time to relax. 

Great set (love the tiny tennis balls)! I went ahead and added it to the challenge clip set as well. Though it doesn't include Manu's wax seal (per the challenge rules), it is a lovely tribute to Manu with one of her lovely flowers, and I therefore think it should be included!

Hi Julia!  Thank you for adding my cookies to Manu's challenge.  If somebody would enjoy looking at them (Oh, Manu will), I am very happy about it.   

I am relieved that my cookies were not burned till soot.

Every year I make something that Manu and I share but I do not know anything about tennis.  I designed tennis wear with sunflowers and sunflower sunglasses but they look like bathing suit.  Someday I might create little Manu in sunflower tennis wear!

I have never looked at the rackets so closely so I googled.  I thought your racket is not green and definitely not with sunflower 😄. I wish all balls have face and talk to us, that will be funny and noisy.

Hi Carol @Cookies Fantastique. Yes, I remember you are a tennis player.  Wonderful!

It was fun to make balls and I could have a chance to look at tennis racket closely for this cookie otherwise tennis racket and badminton racket were same for me.  Now I know they are different and rackets for table tennis are very diffenret even if it says "tennis".
