I'd be interested to know if there's a category specifically for this kind of knitted royal icing technique.
One of the first things I thought when I saw these was how delightful they'd look framed in a shadow box for a nursery.
Are these little fellows made from a single cookie cutter or did you create them by using several cutters?

Thanks so much for commenting, Pip! There doesn't seem to be a specific category, but there are plenty others they fit in . I made the "cutter" myself by cutting out the forms from a coated cardboard (like it's used for cakes etc. to repel liquids and grease), then placed them on the rolled-out dough, and cut along the forms with a sharp knife. Thanks again. Totally appreciate your compliments !

I swear you have this technique down pat! A quick look at a picture of these gorgeous cookies and one would think that you really knitted them!!! Outstanding work.

Thanks a lot! I appreciate your comment very much.
I admire this work. I wish I would like to know how to achieve it! Really I have found nothing more hard like this.
Thank you so much, Mily! It's not hard at all, once you've got the technique. I still have to learn how to take pictures, but I will try to make a tutorial sometime, if someone else doesn't beat me to it Thanks again!
