I want to suggest to anyone trying this out when you go from your larger to your smaller tips like the PME 1 tip , thin out the icing. For those of us with Carpel tunnel it helps.

This is an exquisite cookie! I love all of the different techniques used, and that you even threw in some perfectly piped roses! I love the distressed base cookie - it really makes the white Lambeth over-piping pop! Is it iced or just painted? Thank you for the tip about thinning your icing when using smaller tips - that will definitely be a wrist-saver for many, I'm sure! Fabulous entry!

I’m so glad you like it. It’s really the first time I sat and worked Lambeth. The sites you sent us to were a big help.

The cookie is distressed. I first painted the baked cookie brown with a very loose brown royal icing.   I  then scrapped it with my cheese grader( for lack of anything better) and lightly painted a coat of Wilton white, let that dry and again scrapped the surface. What you see is the result.

I do decoupaged and  thought to use the same steps on the cookie as i do on wooden surfaces. And it worked.

So lovely, Tina!

I really appreciate you saying so. A bit wobbly but  I was glad I pushed myself to try it. Thanks again for the opportunity to grow, even now there is still so much more to learn.  Christine really finds such excellent topics. Wish I had done all 33.
