This is a fairly big departure for me...But what fun! My client had heard of me from her sister who has ordered cookies several times. These were designed for a horse trainer's birthday. I've never made a horse cookie before and hand painting is definitely NOT my comfort zone. But I was determined to create a somewhat realistic horse without a lot of detail! A challenge for a determined cookier .

I must have changed the designs 7-8 times in the planning process. Given the fact that I can't draw to save my life, I ended up doing basic outlines after lots of researching. The best news: My client told me that these were "perfect" for her friend. Big smile on Carol's face .

A very well deserved smile Carol - these are divine !  The horse cookie is fabulous and the colors just perfect ! I love them 😍 😘🍪👍🏻

Thanks so much Lisa @LisaF! You're always very kind and sweet. I really scratched my head over this set. Not being a horse person, it was a difficult challenge. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment my dear ❤️❤️❤️. Hugs...

Oh, Yes, this is so perfect!  I like the colors you chose, too.  She must be surely happy to get your cookies❣️

Thank you so much Ryoko @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.! I so appreciate your kind comment . The person who received the cookies even contacted me to show me a picture of all of the cookies and let me know how happy she was. Such a great birthday gift for a friend ❤️❤️ Hugs...

That horse looks really good, and you picked the perfect colors.

Thank you so much Christine @Sweet Prodigy. The horse was such a challenge! A few cookies went to hubby rather than to the birthday girl . I got tired of munching on my cookies a L-O-N-G time ago. Last thing I need is the extra pounds. LOL. Take care my dear ❤️❤️
