The little autumnal babies were meant to be looking up and the leaves falling down. I'm not sure I was totally successful with my tricking the eye, but both little duffers charmed my heart and were a delight to make. I made tiny leaves for the far away (down on the ground) leaves and larger for those closer to the eye (or falling) leaves. In both images I foreshortened the babies bodies (as shown in the horizontal image). I was actually more successful at it with the one without the hat, and the white hat boy, is actually a bit taller, but still not as tall as proportionally it would have been. Thanks again for the great challange! <3
I love the downward-looking perspective on these! If only there were some way to suspend a giant leaf or two above the babies heads to be *extra extra*! Another terrific addition to the challenge!

Yes! I tried every way to Sunday to figure out how to suspend a leaf. hehe
